　　 We refer to the copy of complaint record, received on june 30. 2006, from the consumer council in connection with the complaint, case number 301/112877/2006 (The　complaint). We understand from the complaint that the complainant is alleging that EAHKrepresented that there would be an official ranked server for HK that would allow players of the BF2 2 PCCD game (BF)in hong kong to engage the online capabilities of this game. We further understand from the complaint that the complainant is alleging that this representation is one of the key selling features of BF.

　　 Contrary to what is being alleged in the complaint, at on time has EA made any commitment or obligation that an official ranked server for hong kong would be made available for BF. The boxes and manual for BF that are distributed with the game in hong kong outline to players the online features of the game if connected to a server, however, nowhere in such materials dose EA represent or otherwise commit to players that an official ranked server will be made available in Hong Kong. Gamers in Hong Kong. Gamers in Hong Kong who are interested in accessing an official ranked server to take advantage of the full online features of BF can do so by accessing the official ranked server that are available world wide outside of Hong Kong, including the United States, Germany, the United Kingdom, Taiwan, Japan and Thailand, provided that, such access shall be subject to availability and any restrictions or limitations that such local serice providers may place on the use of such official server.

EA, the world’s leading interactive entertainment software company, is committed to providing its customers with first rate, industry leading game experiences and to that end, we are actively searching for server providers that will be able to provide server for Hong Kong to service BF. EA’s ability to procure a partner to provide server for Hong Kong is still subject to commercial negotiations, and we have not and do not guarantee or commit that an official ranked server will be made available for Hong Kong .

但是如果弄在美國或德國，那應該跟之前EATW在美國弄一台一樣
放在那裡養蚊子 XD

Let me attempt to clarify for you.  The reason there are no ranked servers stationed in Hong Kong is because of restrictions imposed by the Chinese Government.  Due to these restrictions players are unable to use our EA downloader from China or Hong Kong and it is not possible for our partners to set up ranked servers there.  While we would like to be able to accomodate this need, unfortunately it is beyond our control at this time.

If you have any other questions or concerns please let us know.  Thank you for your support of EA games and good luck on the battlefield.

Let me attempt to clarify for you.  The reason there are no ranked servers stationed in Hong Kong is because of restrictions imposed by the Chinese Government.  Due to these restrictions players are unable to use our EA downloader from China or Hong Kong and it is not possible for our partners to set up ranked servers there.  While we would like to be able to accomodate this need, unfortunately it is beyond our control at this time.

it seems that EAHK don't know what is 'one country two systems'
on the business level, China is China, HK is HK
i think the problem is that there isn't any EACN, so EA ban the action of setting rank server in HK

從上次EAHK的回覆中,小弟我就覺得"事有蹊蹺".....
為何EAHK要架BF2RS,要商請美國工程人員?

EA一家跨國際的公司.沒有所謂的亞太地區負責人嗎?
整個亞洲地區,如台灣.新加坡.韓國.泰國都已經架好了官方BF2RS....
如需RS工程問題...商請最近的分公司人員支援不是比較近又快速.

然後之前一份官方回覆.到現在又來這套...


EA已有違反商品廣告不實的部份了....
各位可以看看EATW.與EAHK....BF2的軟體商品特色介紹

↑以上條件.是不是一定要有BF2RS才可以有效升等....
在整個亞洲區.銷售套數與可服務人數不足下.....消費者不就成了被該公司拒絕服務情況!

廣告不實.與地區可服務線上人數不足,就可提出消費者申訴了.

雖然EA只是銷售商品.若持續以這種"互踢皮球"的處理客戶問題.....
也就別說自家公司"樹大招風".而是"拿磚砸自己腳"了....

Restriction?? As China not allow public sales of BF2, why Hong Kong can???

Hong Kong is a SPECIAL ADMINISTRATION REGION, HKSAR.
Not all Communist China rules can apply on Hong Kong!!!

IF blame China restriction, why not restrict upcoming BF2142 import to Hong Kong?? I never seen such a GOD DAMN company give such a nonsense explanation for refusing set up just a online game Rank server.....

Set up a "US company design game" rank server in Hong Kong equal to host an Anti-China rebel base???? Wahahahaha........

This might be the greatest JOKE in BF community in 2006!!!
