Famas G1 is just a conceptual rifle and was never actually produced.
Famas G2 is used by the French Navy. G2 was supposed to replace all F1, but because of it cost, only the Navy get it. The French army is still waiting to have its F1 replaced by G2.
So, Famas F1 is for French infantry.
